Korea 2015: The End
posted : Saturday, April 25, 2015
Half a mind to walk over to Haeundae Beach in the morning since we stayed so near, but in the end we didn't. Instead settled on last minute packing, squeezed in a bit of TV and headed downstairs by 11am coz host told us we had to leave by that time.
Still had some time to kill so chilled at the cafe downstairs, before heading off to airport at noon in two cabs.
On the way to airport
Last meal in Korea, which, like my first meal, wasnt very Korean.
One last bing su before we go! This one wasnt as nice though. Should have gotten the premium strawberry one.
And with that, we bid farewell to Korea! Gals concluded that summer (or any season other than winter) would have made the trip a lot more enjoyable. Which is quite true actually. Had Val stayed on, I don't know how long more she can last, felt like her nose was dropping off alr by the time she left. And didn't buy any new clothes coz only winter wear was on sale. But on my part I didn't mind the weather too much la. Always my wish to visit somewhere in winter and I think I enjoyed it. And certainly don't mind the company.
Touched down at KL at about 1030, Val was there to pick us up! Had supper in the airport before we head different ways again :( Stel and KH were to camp at airport, since they had an early morning flight back to Bru. San and I followed Val home, but she had to leave home for school early in the morning too so effectively said goodbye when we went to bed. Left with me and San making our way to KLIA 2 the next day at noon, since our flight times are rather close - me heading back to SG and San to KK.
And that marks a formal end to the trip! Post-trip thoughts are in the (much) earlier post.
