*Uber delayed post*

Been almost a month since I came back from grad trip...been wanting to blog but duno what is keeping me busy actually. Okay la shifting house is one, then the period after shifting house...any internet time is dedicated to uploading/arranging/captioning/tagging photos. Hahah. Then came commencement and work (Commencement post and first-week-at-work post would have to wait then). Oh man suddenly have so many posts to write hahaha.

Um initially planning to do a comprehensive day-by-day/attraction-by-attraction posts, inspired by the many travel blogs I came across while planning for the trip but oh well. My blog is private and who's gonna benefit from those anyway. So yep. Summarized ones in the end heh.

Day -2: Brunei-KL
Early morning flight to KL with KH. Oh before that. Chose to fly to Taiwan from KL coz AirAsia had promotion when we were about to book tickets...plus San and Val were based there anyways. Flew there two days early coz KH accidentally booked the wrong date =.= so I thought I might as well go early too...never really jalan-jalan in KL before. Hahah yea failed Malaysian. Turned out didnt really get to explore KL much in the end...get to that in a while.


So yep. Pretty uneventful journey coz we had to sit separately as we didnt book tickets together....spent quite some time in LCCT, I also dun remember why already..prolly coz we weren't really in a rush. So took our sweet time lunching, KH getting SIM card, and had a tense convo wif mum who freaked out about the weather conditions in Taiwan and was suggesting that I cancel the trip completely and go CutiCuti Malaysia instead :S Sigh. Very hard to enjoy fully lor when you know someone back at home is constantly worrying despite all the reassurances.

Bus from LCCT to KL Sentral, very bumpy ride+warm+troubled mind = cannot sleep and torturous ride. Debated a while on whether hotel is nearer to Imbi or Bukit Bintang Monorail...ended up giving up on public transport and just cabbed there coz both of us feeling kind of tired alr. Checked-in to Victory 2 Boutique Hotel...remembered the receptionist was rather new and slow and his senior standing next to him was rather pressurizing haha. Room was rather small but good that got free WiFi....like who can live without internet these days? Rested a bit...unpacked a bit..then found out that Low Yat is pretty close to us and KH was considering getting a new camera...so off we go!


Walked a bit in Sungei Wang and Low Yat while waiting for Stel..who flew in from Miri...was supposed to meet Siong and Chun Hong etc for dinner too and was waiting for Chun Hong to finish work...ended up spending too much time at Low Yat and Siong managed to 捡到 stel at KL Sentral lol. Dinner at Pavilion, forgot which restaurant alr...caught up with them KL peeps! And yep..end of Day -2....

Slept in and went for brunch at a coffee shop near our place...then went back to hotel room...hang around a bit..sort of packed a bit? (cant reli remember what we did alr) Oh yea...inaugurated my instax mini heh. San flying in today and we were to meet her straight at Times Square...since she said she didnt have much luggage and can easily carry around...so off we go!














Rushed back after dinner to pack since we are supposed to leave some of our stuff at Val's place..oh btw her place was unavailable for us to stay coz her family came down to KL for hols too, hence hotel in the first place. Called cab (which took forever coz the operator at the other end couldnt decipher "Victory 2" and KH had to spell it out multiple times). Then it's reunion at Val's! After 2.5 years! :)) Left some stuff like laptop etc at her place...then Val drove us back to the hotel...and tat's the end of pre-trip! Didnt get to visit my KLCC but oh well. Guess there's always chance.
