Whee halfway done with internship!!

Haha this is gonna be a really short update..nothing too interesting going on with work. Unless you count the fact that it was 5.28pm on Friday and I was just about to start closing all opened windows, shutting down my comp etc...and I GOT DRAGGED OFF TO A MEETING. Seriously =.= Okay I admit I wasnt going home yet because there's Happy Hour this week and I was kind of looking forward to it...sigh. The admin colleagues around me were like "you intern only le..just tell him u dun wan to go lahh" but i doubt I will ever have the guts to do that lol. In the end I didnt really feel that my presence was required but nvm la. See see look look lor. Thankfully it only lasted for around 25min and so didnt missed out too much.

The other highlight of the week was the interns-celebrate-first-paycheck dinner..oh yea i got my first ever paycheck! Excited much. Interns get cheques unlike the permanent staff who get their salary via bank transfer so yea. From my seat can see the interns from 39F coming down to collect their cheques and I hereby declare ME interns as the most kiasu HAHAHA. Within half an hour of the email notification and they were there already. Ok ok jk only. So we randomly decide to go for a "celebratory" dinner and movie session and hence began mass-emailing sessions discussing dinner locations and movies lol. Totally intern-like. Dinner at Astons (which was just across the office building btw =.=) was enjoyable despite me never speaking more than 10 sentences to my intern-classmates before this summer and I was actually surprised that one classmate who showed up (he was invited along since he works somewhere nearby too) actually knows my name hahaha. Oh well...u noe what I want to say...I am not a very sociable person bah. I can write but I cant talk for long. So the return journey to NUS (skipped movie in the end coz we were late for dinner and they decided to watch 9 sth pm show instead) with another classmate was kind of awkward..lots of silence in between.

Second half of internship is supposed to be more intense...we'll see.
