Fear.

I am kind of scared of my finals now..sigh, i noe, midterms have just ended, which means there are only 6 more weeks to finals. Out of the 6 weeks, 2 will be used up for an intensive hall activity, namely CONCERT - RENDEZVOUS.
Sigh, I had grand plans to make up for the modules which I was lagging before recess week, and guess what, instead of making up for them, I find myself lagging even more after I sacrifice them for midterms this week (which didnt really go as well as I planned) and goodness knows how much I am going to miss following next two weeks of skipping lectures and even tutorials. All this realization suddenly came after a solemn meeting with my department heads. Can't believe how different today's meeting was compared to the one just two days ago..two days ago was like a family meeting when our heads were telling us about the level of trust they put into us by allowing us to take turns instead of making all of us come down at the same time during the upcoming dry runs in the hall. Apparently (I think) the rest of the concert central committee and the other seniors dun reli approve the idea and were giving him a lot of pressure, saying that he was too kind on us. And to make things worse, stories of our ancestors (the batch before us) getting scolded so badly during the dry run by THEIR OWN DEPARTMENT HEAD kind of adds on to our stress level. Sigh, I hope we dun make any mistakes during the dry runs or face the countless bombs dropped on our heads. I am thinking these bombs could be even more destructive than those fired by our ex-MRL teachers in charge. :S Problem is, work doesnt stop after concert..there's still my two hall activities to juggle too. Especially when I am kind of new when it comes to writing articles for the hall magazine and the 50th anniversary commemorative book (I chose the writing job over layouting coz I am a noob when it comes to Photoshop. :S) and I have 8 pages worth of article to write. Sadness. Hopefully the survival skills I learnt in JC can come in handy. *edit* In reference to the post on the tagboard by Sam..here's an interesting story (at least for me). Had Programming midterm earlier tonight and as usual there is a bonus question after the 25 MCQs. It goes like: 26. Who won the second place in the inaugural Singapore F1 night race on 28 September 2008? A. Alonso B. Glock C. Hamilton D. Rosberg E. Vettel I nearly literally laugh out loud when I read it. What a rubbish question! Some people will be cursing the lecturer when they were expecting some technology related question (previous years were like tat) and these pop up. LOL.
