The City That Never Sleeps

1st day of a new experience

Today is officially my first day in uni!

I only had two lectures today. The first one was an incredibly early one at 8am and I was early for lecture even though I woke up half an hour before lecture begins haha. Am beginning to see the advantages of staying in RH lol. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to the lecture theatre!

First lecture was MLE1101 which is Introductory Materials Science and Engineering, which was unfortunately (for us) lectured by a Chinese (you know what I mean). Had a hard time trying not to fall asleep and trying to make out what he is saying but overall it should be an interesting module. Well, not that I had a choice to not take it though.

Headed back to my room to support Lee Chong Wei on TV. Whoops, I mean on computer. Watched Channel 5 from NUSCast! Hehe.

After lunch, went for my second lecture of the day in PC1431, Physics for Engineers. The lecturer was kind of a lame guy (well, which physics teacher isnt?) and so the lecture was much more interesting than the first one. Only an introductory lecture telling us about the admin stuff so nothing much to say about it, except towards the end where he showed us a small part of HP Philosopher's Stone movie which is supposed to be a preview on next lecture which involved vectors. o___O.

And basically that is the end of the first day. By the way, first two weeks of uni consists of lecture only and tutorials and labs dun start until Week 3. Tomorrow I will have back-to-back-to-back lectures from 1pm- 6pm. Sigh.
