Last day for settling in before orientation begins tomorrow.

Went out for breakfast early in the morning, supposedly heading for Macs but it wasnt opened until 11am. So in the end head over to PGPR aircon food court for breakfast. After that we decided to visit Haw Par Villa, a tourist attraction in Singapore but surprisingly we never went there before in our two years of JC life.

Haw Par Villa was built in memory of the founder of Tiger Balm Oil, Aw Boon Haw and his brother Aw Boon Par (sth like that). It has a lot of sculptures that depict short stories widely known in the Chinese community. And the main attraction was the Ten Courts of Hell, where visitors were told, using various sculptures to show how people are tortured when they die if they have done wrongdoings in their life. And to think that we committed those sins (as simple as gambling and wasting food) in our lifes! Haha..we are going to be tortured~~~ Too lazy to post up pictures, maybe some other time...

Headed over to Bugis for some more stationery shopping, and got a pair of cheap speakers!! Lol, haha i dun need a high-end speaker so a simple cheap one will do. After headed over to Sim Lim Square, where I acquired a new webcam. xD so now can chat with my family :P Anyway we carried a total of 3 printers back to NUS campus, 3 same models some more. Must have staged quite a scene when we walked along the streets near Sim Lim Square.

Went back to the hall, then not long later went out again. Haih, must make full use of the remaining free time. We sent Billy off to Kent Ridge Hall, and visited it. Hehe. I am not allowed to post the pictures, maybe have to refer to Billy's blog? haha. But it is really nice, modern, and a lot of storage space, just that smaller space to move around in the room.

We were supposed to head for Macs for dessert and Jess' dinner, but we seemed to almost miss it for the second time in the day. We ran all the way there after alighting from the bus stop and luckily we reached there just in time, for the waiters reluctantly took in our last orders. Sat down at the steps near Macs and had our meals. Lol. And that concludes a hectic day.

Orientation for Raffles Hall will begin tomorrow.. sigh don't know what to expect..and I think I more or less decided to skip Engineering Faculty Orientation already. Also looking forward to registration day..so that i can settle them and get student pass A.S.A.P and can get my new phone. :P I am not being racist here, but i hope i dun get a bunch of Utaras as OG mates, otherwise...i duno, can get a bit boring? Coz they are perceived to be not cooperative and..i duno. Right, if i find time during orientation to blog then I will tell more about orientation.
