Driving: Lesson 3
posted : Thursday, April 10, 2008
It was raining quite heavily when I woke up and I almost thought lessons will be cancelled. But the rain stopped soon so lessons proceed as usual.
First went for driving on the roads...Familiarize myself with the possible exam routes. There are a total of 3 routes, A, B and C, and the officer is suppose to tell u which road to test and you are suppose to remember the routes..if not it means FAIL...kind of lame but nvm...Drove ok I guess, nothing exciting happens as Limbang is a small town and not many cars like KL..no animals like Perlis either...=p Then went to practise the side parking which didnt went well yesterday. Hehe. no problems at all today. Same for the dead end segment either. Have some problems at the slope though, didnt exactly land properly on the yellow line (the front tyre supposed to be inside the line) and somehow the car started rolling backwards even after i pulled the hand brakes. ?? And engine died on top of the slope too. Whatever...just try again... Funny thing is, my instructor told me officials at Limbang are not strict..but I didnt know they can be so lenient. First, supposed to go for some kursus for 6 hours (after passing law) but I ended up going for an hour only and declared that it lasted for 6 hours. And 10 hours of practicals is totally up to the discretion of the instructor...Mine told me she booked my exam to be on 22nd April, and this is only the 3rd time I went for lessons, lasting for a total of 2.5 hours. I signed my attendance record today and saw that she already helped me fill in a total of 10 hours (with random dates) and I just need to sign next to the dates, meaning I had attended 10 hours. And she told me the examiners here are not exactly strict either. Wow, am I lucky or what? Labels: driving |
