An email from my former civics tutor:
"To all in 06S03 I have been flooded with SMS request to write letter of recommendation from the class and most of the time, no detail or info is given. Worst still, no name was given. I am upset that after being your civics tutor for 2 years, you have not learn much in your mannerism. I will not reply or entertain any such request. It is the basis manner to write me a note to let me know what you are exactly applying, what the letter to be written on(academic/ CCA etc ), when and how you are collecting the letter. In fact, you should use the testimonial that school has given you instead of asking for another one. Regards, Mrs Chan Mathematics Department, Ext 298" I dont know if this is the appropriate way she should treat us. As far as I am concerned, I know there will be a group of people who may be rude (in her context) by just sms-ing her and I know she hates that..but still, I think it is unfair to people like me who are dying while waiting for her reply and all I get is this email although I did perfectly what she mentioned. What to do? Put on a smiling face (fake) and re-send my original email which has all the details she wanted and saying sorry (even though I din do anything wrong) hoping she dun ignore me this time round and she is able to give me what I want before the dateline... |
