The City That Never Sleeps

Back in Singapore...

posted : Tuesday, March 04, 2008
I find it hard to drag myself to post nowadays....possibly because my blog is mostly about my life and currently there is nothing much about my life that is significant enough to be posted..haha...

Anyway i am back in singapore, for one and only one reason: 7 March 2008!! Doomsday...I already dont know what i can expect from that day. Sources reported that the actual date of release of results should have been on 29th February, and that the results have been in MOE's hands since middle Feb...but due to an island-wide slump in results, they have to send it back for moderation...which only spells trouble for all those anxious souls waiting out there. Predicting the date to be on 29 Feb, I have been back since 27 Feb, only to caught in the seemingly endless wait for the notification of release of results...the date finally came out yesterday...and...it's time to start worrying.

So far I have been staying in McNair Lodge v2.0....haha lol its actually an apartment which my friends working in Singapore had rented, and it is close to having an "overcrowded" status. Currently there are 11 people under that roof, in addition there are a few more coming over =S.

Went back to SAJC yesterday, for an interview by 联合早报...about the new A Level curriculum..well didnt see many familiar faces, save for the ever-scary-but-fun Ms K...Ms Su, Mrs Lee etc...guess we will see more of them on Friday =(...and i hope it will be a day i will remember, not a day to forget...interview went quite smoothly..but i realized that my once more or less fluent English is no longer there...possibly because of the holidays in which i mainly speak chinese wif family and friends...my latest version of english had a lot of "err" and "erm" between..=S

Drop by at Orchard after the interview...and after half an hour of hunting the half-dead MH and I finally found the businesswoman-like lady who have been earning quite a lot of money these days...she looked different, but when she started talking, all those memories of her came back..yeap, she's none other than our old ah-mic姐! She specially ask us to come over to visit her so that she can treat us..how nice of her =p

Oh well...anyway, short update of the previous month:
1) Finally get started on driving lessons, and found an instructor;
2) Went back to Malacca during Chinese New Year, including a trip to Bangkok;
3) Farewell for friends who left for further studies - Stella, Chee Hwa, Julius etc.
4) ROT

Waiting with bated breaths...dreading...hoping...wishing...
