Yay…two more weeks to Prelims..and this helpful "little" board in school just have to remind us of it. And I feel damn unprepared.
Well…at least I tried. I did work during the 4 and a half day break, but at such a slow rate and I feel that I was slacking most of the time. The teachers have given us some past year Prelim papers from other JCs and though I could do most of them, it was with utmost difficulty and if this was the standard for Prelims, then I cant imagine what will happen then. To quote my Econs teachers, “If you studied the same way you did during BT2, I guarantee you a ‘U’ for Prelims”. Not a very nice thing to say, but I believe it but still not much action was taken. People say Prelims are meant to jolt you, give you a big shock, so that you will put in everything to prepare for A Levels, which should be easier as compared to the Prelims. Well, that only confirms my fear for the Prelims.
Aargh…its about time to blame the stupid timetable setter again, whoever he or she might be. We had all our subjects, packed painfully together in the first week, followed by a week of September holidays, followed by one slack week and one day in the third week. What’s the point man. Making us cram so much in the first week, some more GP and Econs have to clash, Physics and Chemistry Paper 3 clash again in the first week. To sum it all..the timetable is killing.
Went to National Library with Val to study…well I went early, but not as early as last week, and just managed to get a table, and as I was congratulating myself this bloody idiot came and sat on my table (it was a two-seater). I politely told him that someone was sitting there already and he simply waved his hand with that smug and 欠扁 look of his and sat down. Wah lao eh! I wouldn’t be so angry if I had not specially woke up early for that seat lo. Damn geram. In the end have to leave and went down to the Central Lending Library instead, where we cannot talk and discuss our work. Grrr…
Anyway I had made yet another shopping list…
1. December air ticket
2. New headphones for my phone!
3. Harry Potter series (1, 2 and 4)
4. A new pair of shoes
That’s all I guess for now…a good night of rest, and start to piah (拼, in Hokkien) tomorrow!
