Hey folks..its back to blogging..have lots to say.
First of all, my not-so-good-looking but yet enough-to-secure scholarship results:
H2 Chemistry: 72/100 = A
H2 Maths: 73/100 = A
H2 Physics: 57/100 = C
H1 Economics: 73/100 = A
H1 General Paper: 45/100 = E
Those are my grades for Promotional Exams, and overall grade, after including Common Test and Continual Assessment, its an A for Chem, Maths and Econs, C for Physics [I only missed 'B' by one mark!! =( ] and D for GP. That adds up to a total of 72 points out of the maximum 80..and it also means I have successfully secured my sholarship for next year (the requirement was 52 points by the way) so I can say that I am rather contented with these results. Though I expected a low 'A' for Chem, I din expect to get such a low 'A' for Maths..a result of a few careless mistakes. I expected myself to do much better for Physics as well, a high 'B' in fact, but still ended up wif a 'C', a few careless mistakes as well plus a disastrous MCQ the resulting factor. GP didnt come as a huge shock when we saw our tutor's grave expression, though I admit it is a close shave. Highest in my class was a low 'C', majority get 'D's and 'E's. The whole cohort did terribly, so terrible that the English department have to inflate everybody's marks by 3 marks to increase the passing rate. Finally was Econs, well to tell the truth the 'A' came as a surprise as well, after my confidence went down the drain with dreadful Physics and GP results. But the whole point is that I have secured the scholarship and nothing much matters anymore.

For the past week, we have three marking days, as mentioned a variety of programmes were organized for us. Monday, we had a cultural programme wif ethnical bands performing, hillarious skits and videos presentation, and a fitness talk (though I had no idea why this was included in the programme). Was watching the whole show from the sound room as I was the AVA student on duty. Tuesday, Project Work Day, where we had to complete the 4th draft of the Written Report by 12.15pm and hand it in the day itself. Wednesday, Amazing Race organized by the 7th House Council, which is reasonably fun I should say, though only half of the class turned up for the programme. In the afternoon, the Current Affairs Quiz which we librarians organized had the prelim round. After marking of answer scripts and deciding on qualified teams, I had to rush for AVA seniors farewell party as well. Thursday, lessons resumed and we started getting back our results.

Went for the 1st Singapore Biennale (City Hall site) on Friday nite. Not as boring as I expected (the place was filled with art) but not too interesting either. Spent most of the time taking pictures.

Saturday was SAJC's Open House, where secondary school students turned up to have a look at the college and visit CCA booths, aimed at helping them decide whether they want to come to the school next year. As there are two other JCs(National Junior College and Nanyang Junior College) having open house at the same day, most of the students turned up with souvenirs from other schools. I had to run between MRL and AVA booths as well.

By the way, the Saturday before we had class outing at Marina Bay, but the disappointment was that only a pathetic 8 people turned up. Nevertheless, had fun playing bowling, arcade and steamboat cum BBQ.

Now have to dedicate the rest of my time..one month, to be exact, before I go home, to Project Work Oral Presentation and MRL Current Affairs Quiz Finals...

Persevere....
