For me, this holidays have not been too eventful. One week of holidays is simply too short! But then, at least, it allows me to rest a bit, get my life back to track, and prepare to struggle past the next 10 weeks, which will undoubtedly be the most important term in my JC1 life.
This holidays i have repeatedly told myself: I must study! (Well, at least finish up my homework), and I did. Not to the extent of studying(or working) everyday though, i gave myself breaks every now and then. Looking at the calendar, I realised that there is only two weeks to go before promos...well, to tell the truth i havent really started on revision, unless u counted maths, where i have been doing a 127 questions holiday homework cum revision like crazy for two days...and didnt finish yet..and also i read organic chem notes where some of them i half understood, and physics notes. This week I went back to school twice to check my crystals, on monday n thursday, and did PW 3rd Draft for Written Report on thursday, which is quite nicely done i must say. On Friday attended two make up lessons, a 2.5 hour GP lesson and another 2 hour Econs lecture. By Thursday most of my friends who went back home had already came back (to begin with, there are not many of them who went back). In the holidays, well the teacher-mentors came to visit us: Mrs. New came once with her ginger biscuits, Mr Chia came twice and helped some scholars from his class with PW stuff, Ms Carol Wong(in-charge of J2s) came with twice with her home made cookies, Mr David Wong(also J2 teacher-mentor) actually decided to stay in the hostel for a week. Well we suspected them to be under MOE's or the college's orders, to make sure we are not too stressed or to show us they cared for us too. Overall we are the ones enjoying of course.
Well its Manit's birthday tomorrow, i expect the Indians to have another round of celebration tonight, following Hitesh's birthday on Thursday. By the way on Thursday alone there are 4 scholars celebrating birthday, our seniors Poh Xuan, Gunalan(Malaysian Indian), Hitesh(Indian) and a J2 PRC scholar. Today is Jia Hao's Birthday, next Thursday is Chris and Dita's birthday, and there are many more to mention, including my own sister's. Plus my friends back in Brunei, Yen Shan and Heng Soon a.k.a. Stanley. Well Happy Birthday, Happy Belated Birthday and Happy 'Early' Birthday to all mentioned!
One and a half day of holidays remaining.
