Well, at least I didnt do as bad as I imagined...but, still, it doesnt look nice, but at least I am safe for the time being.
Surprisingly I got an 'A' for Maths too! But I just scraped through, coz I initially got a 'B', but I am only 1 point away from an 'A', so my tutor gave me a mark for a careless mistake I had, so I got an 'A' instead. I realized that I got the inequalities question right after all, but because I somehow stupidly pressed the calculator wrongly while checking and so I thought my answer was wrong..spent some time looking for errors again and couldnt find it, so I left the rest of that question blank -_-! Physics...well I had expected it, but I din expect to get such a grade! I thought I might get a 'C'..'B' if I am lucky...but finally it turned out to be a 'D'. I must say I really don't deserve a 'D'! I could do some questions, but somehow because of time constraint I couldnt do...and the MCQ tokk away quite some marks from me. GP is a subject that the whole cohort didnt do well. Nobody from my class got an 'A', even in the so-called 'scholar's class', 06S01, nobody managed to get an 'A'. Well, I got a 'C'..pretty much same as what I expected..but in the old 'A' level grading system I would have got a B4... Nothing much to highlight this week, except that college life is getting busier and busier!Last wednesday we had this CCA Student Leaders Retreat. It is a boring thing which all CCAs have to send two representatives to participate and all JC1 classes have to send the class reps. Well, throughout the 8 hour thing there were talks on college core values, blah blah...BORING. The only nice part is the food of course =p And there is this thing called the ASEAN Quiz...we took the selection test and got selected to represent the college to participate in the competition in the National Level. If we win again we will be participating in the regional level! BUT...the bad news came a day after. Since we are not Singaporeans or PR, we are disqualified. BLeh. Then we(all the Malaysian direct scholars) went to the NDP(National Day Parade) Preview on Saturday.Quite a cool show, I must say. So much better compared to Brunei's boring parades. Lights and fireworks and everything. The PM was there, and he was in Brunei in the morning, attending the Sultan's Birthday! And the ASEAN Dance will be held on coming saturday...we are supposed to pay $25 for it!! What the?!! They invited bands, booked an expensive place and so on. And we have to pay for it, even if we are not attending it. Well...not in the mood to blog today..Have been quite moody this week but I have no idea why. |
